Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This page explains our practices in plain language and is being finalized with legal counsel. It isn't a substitute for a signed service agreement — if anything here matters for a decision you're making, contact us at info@blactec.ug first.
This policy applies to anyone using BlacTec hosting, email, domain or cloud services. It exists to keep our infrastructure — and every other client on it — safe and reliable.
Not allowed
- Hosting or distributing illegal content, malware, phishing pages or pirated material.
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating open mail relays.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, servers or networks.
- Running processes that abuse shared resources to the point of degrading service for other clients.
- Using our services in a way that breaches Uganda's laws or the laws of a jurisdiction your content targets.
What happens if this policy is breached
Depending on severity, we may warn you, temporarily suspend the affected service, or terminate it — we'll always try to contact you first unless the issue is actively harming other clients or the wider network.
Reporting abuse
If you believe content or traffic from a BlacTec-hosted service is abusive, email info@blactec.ug with details and we'll investigate.
