Refund Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This page explains our practices in plain language and is being finalized with legal counsel. It isn't a substitute for a signed service agreement — if anything here matters for a decision you're making, contact us at info@blactec.ug first.
Refund eligibility depends on the service, because some of what we sell involves real, non-recoverable costs the moment you order — for example, a domain registered with a registry, or an SSL certificate issued by a certificate authority.
Domains
Domain registrations and renewals are generally non-refundable once the registration has been submitted to the registry, since that fee is paid onward and can't be recovered.
Hosting, reseller & email plans
If a hosting, reseller hosting or Google Workspace plan isn't working out, contact us as soon as possible — we'll look at how much of the service period has been used and any third-party costs already incurred, and work with you on a fair resolution.
SSL certificates & backup add-ons
Once a certificate has been issued or a backup pipeline provisioned, the setup cost is typically non-refundable, but unused remaining term may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
How to request a refund
Email info@blactec.ug with your account details and the reason for the request, and we'll respond with next steps.
